PICS: Darren Kennedy and Suzanne Jackson wow at the Brit Awards

Darren Kennedy and Suzanne Jackson wowed on the red carpet at the Brit Awards.

The annual awards took place in London’s O2 and was hosted by Dermot O’Leary and Emma Willis.

Britain’s best talents in music were acknowledged on the night and stunned on the red carpet.

Fashionista Darren rocked a retro look in head to toe River Island.

Paying homage to 1950s style, Darren wore a printed red shirt with a sharp black leather jacket.

Wearing a simple pair of cream chinos with trendy forest green and black runners, the Dubliner was the definition of cool.

Blogger Suzanne Jackson also showed off her style on the red carpet alongside fiancé Dylan O’Connor.

Wearing a gingham top and skirt from River Island, the entrepreneur kept her make-up elegant with a red lip and sultry smokey eyes.

Suzanne finished off her look with a double-chain necklace, two glitzy bangles and black heels.

Dylan wore an all white suit from River Island with adding some fun to the look with a printed pocket square.

British girl group Little Mix also walked the red carpet and showed off their individual styles with four totally different looks.

Perrie Edwards channelled her inner Black Swan in feathers, Jesy Nelson dared to wear leather with a zip down the front and Jade Thirlwall shone the brightest in a silver silk dress paired with long black evening gloves.

However, it was Leigh-Anne Pinnock who stood out the most – not because she appeared to steal Britney Spears 2001 look but because of the back of her dress.

On the back, Leigh-Anne’s dress featured a leather panel which added an extra bit of glamour to her outfit.

Ed Sheeran, who performed on the night, kept his look very simple in all black.

Wearing a sharp black suit and black polo neck, Ed looked very sharp in his modest look.

The musician debuted a special version of his song Shape Of You as rapper Stormzy jumped on stage and added a new feel to the song.

Katy Perry, who also performed on the night, showed off her new look with a very sparkly outfit.

With her hair up to show off the glitzy number, the American wowed in a pink and grey dress and blazer combo.

Katy’s outfit was the perfect balance of fun bubblegum pop, like her song Chained To The Rhythm, and elegant chic for the awards.

Rita Ora walked the red carpet in a dress designed by Alexandre Vauthier.

The dress was talked about a lot by fans with a variety of mixed reactions – some loved it, some hated it and others compared her to Poison Ivy.

With wet look hair and gold make-up, the singer kept the focus on the camouflage green dress.

Fearne Cotton wore a simple yet chic black dress on the night and kept her blonde locks flowing.

Irish style Sinead McKeefry styled the presenter’s look and has worked with her on various occasions.

Sinead added a pop of colour to Fearne’s look with a pair of burgundy velvet heels and a soft pink lipstick.

Geordie Shore star Charlotte Crosby let her wild side out in a sheer leopard print dress.

The 26-year-old underwear was visible through the sheer fabric and many were not impressed with her look.

On her Instagram photo, her followers wrote to her asking “Why see through?” – however, others praised her confidence for wearing such a daring look.

Charlotte’s co-star and close pal Holly Hagan wore a more conservative look in all black and bouncy blonde curls.

Holly’s skirt was the show-stopping feature of her look that turned heads and received high praise from her fans online.

The 24-year-old channelled Marilyn Monroe in her look and wore a strong red lippy to compliment her outfit.
