PICS: Love/Hate star Barry Keoghan walks the red carpet with Nicole Kidman in Cannes

Barry Keoghan walked the red carpet alongside Nicole Kidman in Cannes yesterday.

The Dubliner, who broke onto the acting scene in RTÉ crime series Love/Hate, stars alongside Australian actress Nicole in The Killing of a Sacred Deer – which premiered for the first time at the film festival yesterday.

The 24-year-old beamed as he posed for snaps while rubbing shoulder with Nicole on the red carpet.

Barry has already received rave reviews for his role in the horror film, which also stars fellow Irish star Colin Farrell, and Alicia Silverstone.

The movie tells the story of a surgeon who adopts a teenager named Martin (Barry). However, as Martin’s actions grow increasingly sinister, the doctor is forced to make a terrible decision.

Nicole and Barry also appeared on the red carpet alongside the film’s director Yorgos Lanthimos.

The news comes after Barry was dubbed as “the next big thing” recently by The Hollywood Reporter.

The actor has been making waves in Hollywood, and is set to star in Christopher Nolan’s Dunkirk – which is set for release in July.
