Rory Cowan reveals he may not be in Brendan O’Carroll’s new show

Rory Cowan has revealed that he won’t be annoyed if Brendan O’Carrell doesn’t cast him in his new show.

The Mrs. Brown’s Boys creator will star as Agnes Brown in the new chat show and his original cast is expected to join.

“I don’t know [if I’ll be in it]. I was in the play and so was Danny [O’Carroll, Brendan’s son and Mrs Brown’s Boys co-star,]” he said.

However, the actor admitted that Brendan would want all his family and cast in the new show.

“In the stage show there was only six or seven characters but for a television show I’d say we’d all be in it,” he told the Irish Mirror.

“Brendan is very generous like that. He’d want us all in there.

“I wouldn’t be annoyed at all [if he cast another star in the role]. At the same time I don’t think he would do it.”
