Twink saves home from repossession

The entertainer's lavish home was up for sale for €1.2million

Twink has saved her home from repossession after a long battle in court.

The actress’ lavish home in Knocklyon was put up for sale after she was unable to pay outstanding mortgage repayments of €250,000 to the banks and €18,000 in arrears.

However, she has now paid off the €18,000 and the possession proceeding by Start Mortgages against Twink has been called to a halt.

According to RTE Entertainment, the court was told that Twink had paid off all mortgage repayment arrears and was no longer required to sell her home or for the bank to obtain a possession order against it.

It was also revealed that it was Twink who had paid off the €18,000 outstanding debt as her estranged husband David Agnew had not been engaging with the bank and had not been living in the home.

Speaking at the time of when her home went up for sale, the entertainer admitted that it “broke her heart” having to sell her home.
