Twink: 'THREE people have threatened to KILL me after taking on dognappers to get Teddy back'

Furious Twink has revealed she has been the subject of three death threats after taking on dognappers.

The stage star said she has been through a “vile year” after her pooch Teddy Bear was kidnapped – which ended by being fired from the Limerick panto.

Now the 63-year-old – real name Adele King – has revealed she is too skint to stay in her Dublin home and will have to sell.

“I have struggled through a vile year, financially, in Recession Ireland, like every one else. I need to sell my beloved home to pay the bills, even though it breaks my heart, but I have to do it,” she said.

“Teddy and I have survived an ordeal this year that tore my family apart, and I also received threats to my life three times for meddling in the professional dog-thieving world, which scared me stiff.”

The stage star said she is “stunned, bewildered and heartbroken” at not being part of Jack And The Beanstalk after producers decided to fire her, she claims.

“To say I am stunned, bewildered and heartbroken doesn’t even go there.  have entertained the people of Limerick and its environs since I was a small child, and it’s a county I dearly love,” she said.

“A break-up in any long-term relationship is deeply hurtful and that is exactly how I feel now. Desperately hurt. My beloved daughters, Chloe and Naomi, are in disbelief!”

Annoyed Twink told the Sunday Independent that cracks began forming when she complained about being under rehearsed and not getting necessary costumes.

“Teddy and I are ready, willing and able to work, and we already have our bags packed. There is a signpost in our garden every Christmas that points to the road to Limerick,” she added.

“To say that we are devastated at letting down all of the children who come to see us every year is an understatement.

“We received so many letters and cards from very sick children who were hoping to meet Teddy in person after the show.”

Goss.ie has contacted panto producers for a comment.
