Stephanie Davis appeared on This Morning today, where she opened up about Jeremy McConnell’s drug addiction.
The Irish model is currently in rehab, and Stephanie appeared on the ITV show to show her “support for him” as she confirmed that they’re back together.
“I was watching the man I love killing himself in front of me. I love him, and he’s doing the right thing now,” she said.
“I can’t say what will happen in five years or ten years. Right now we’re taking it day by day. He wants to be a good dad to Caben and put wrongs to right.
“I love Jez. I think that’s plain to see. Everyone watched us fall in love and that was me genuinely falling in love with him. I’m proud of him and take my hat off to him. To admit you have a problem takes guts.
“Already speaking to him there is such a difference… His priority is to be a good dad to Caben and I love him.
“You can’t blame me for wanting to keep my family together. Everyone makes mistakes. He deserves a second chance and he’s only human. It’s just unfortunate we haven’t helped ourselves and it’s been in the public eye. And there’s a baby now.”
Stephanie also admitted that she understands why people may look at their relationship as a “big joke”.

“I’ve come on here today to support him and do this on his behalf with his consent. I want to put everything straight a little bit too as the to the public it’s seemed an absolute joke.
“It’s been a long time coming. I love him and when you love someone and you’re in a relationship – obviously it’s been on a different scale as we’re in the public eye and we haven’t helped ourselves – but Jeremy has finally admitted he did need help.
“I cried for hours as it was a weight off my shoulders as I was slowly watching the man I love kill himself and there was nothing I could do. I am so proud now for Caben that he’s sorting his life out,” she added.
Stephanie also hit out at Phillip Schofield for how he spoke about her when Jeremy had a DNA test live on air.
“I thought you were biased in that interview,” she said. “I was screaming at the TV.”
