This week’s Late Late Show will honour a national treasure

This week’s Late Late Show is to celebrate one of Ireland’s most beloved singers with a Mary Black special tomorrow night.

Legendary Mary Black’s career has spanned over five decades and she is one of the most famous females of the Irish music scene with her iconic voice helping define a generation.

The Black Family will reunite for a special performance as Mary is joined by Frances, Shay, Martin and Michael.

The next generation of the Black family will also be on hand to honour the singer as her children Danny O’Reilly and Róisín O will perform.

Robbie and Claudine Keane and other famous faces will also be on the show to pay tribute to her.

Other guests on the show include Paul Burrell, who served as Princess Diana’s butler and confidant for a decade before her untimely death almost 20 years ago.

He will be dishing the dirt on the most famous royal family on the planet and also discussing his recent marriage to husband Graham.

Ryan Tubridy will also be catching up with Irish garden designer Diarmuid Gavin as he prepares to bring his Chelsea Flower Show medal winning garden to Dundrum.

He’ll be telling viewers about the major projects he is working on all over the world to redesigning the childhood playground of the late Queen Mother in the UK.
