New Toy Show host Brian McFadden has told Alan Hughes to get over losing the TV3 Toy Show gig.
The Ireland AM presenter was furious after being dumped for the former Westlife star, who is hosting the 90 minute extravaganza with Karen Koster.
But Brian said: “Alan would want to get over it. They picked me because I’m cooler!”

The TV star – who is working with Jedward on the programme – has now promised to bring Alan on a drinking session to help him deal with the disappointment.
But Brian insisted that despite what Alan thinks, he wasn’t the face of the TV3 Toy Show.
He added: “Alan feels he launched the TV3 Toy Show last year. He didn’t launch anything, he did a 30-minute pre-record. This is 90 minutes live.

“Alan is a professional though, he’ll understand, and a good friend. I’ll bring him on a three hour drinking session.”
Meanwhile, Brian has insisted he isn’t planning on trying to be just like Tubs.
He said: “I’ll do it my way and Tubridy will do it his. I’ll leave singing and dancing to him. I don’t want to ruin his moment.”
