Darren Kennedy has admitted that he was not expecting to be nominated for the IFTA’s Rising Star.
The fashionista opened up to Goss.ie about being one of the six names to be listed for the awards first ever TV Rising Star award.
“I wasn’t expecting it, it kind of came out of the blue,” he said.

The Dublin native revealed he was “absolutely thrilled” to be recognised for his work in television.
“It’s great to get recognised for your work,” he told Goss.ie.
“TV is my absolute passion and it’s great to be amongst a great group of people .
The presenter also revealed his highlights from Dublin Fashion Festival which he was the first male face for.
