EXCLUSIVE! Twink 'devastated' over claims her dog fainted on live TV

Twink is said to “really upset” after TV3 sources claimed her dog Teddy fainted live on air.

The Dublin star was on Midday, when her dog allegedly “fainted”.

However journalist Andrea Smith, who was on the panel, said Teddy did not pass out despite TV3 claims to the Irish Sun.

“Twink is really upset to think that anyone would believe she would do anything to harm her beloved little dog Teddy,” she told Goss.ie.

Speaking out: Andrea says Teddy didn’t faint | BRIAN MCEVOY

“Someone texted her this morning to ask if it was true her dog had a stroke on set, and she is devastated that anyone would think she would allow Teddy to become too warm and pass out.

“Teddy is well used to a studio environment and he behaves really well in public, which is why she can bring him anywhere.

“I was on the Midday panel yesterday, and Teddy greeted everyone, kissed up to Glenda Gilson and all the girls in the make up room, and then settled down on the Midday desk and had a snooze,” she explained.

Controversy: Teddy just fell asleep

“He didn’t pass out and nobody was worried about him, as it wasn’t particularly hot in studio, and he was just having a peaceful little sleep.

“When it was over he came out of the studio and enjoyed being fussed over by everyone again.

“It is completely inaccurate to suggest that he fainted or passed out, and it also suggests that those of us on the panel and the producers of the show cared so little for a little dog’s welfare that they allowed that to happen,” she added.
