Ant McPartlin is banned from using his phone and getting visitors in rehab.
Yesterday it was reported that the presenter was checking himself into a rehab facility, after confessing to substance abuse.
He is focusing on getting better, which means he is banned from seeing or contacting relatives and friends, including wife Lisa Armstrong and best friend Dec Donnelly.
A source told The Sun, “The most important thing is getting his health on track. Right now Ant won’t be able to have access to his phone or any visitors, even from his wife or Dec.”

It was also revealed that Ant was living as ‘a virtual recluse’ before his admission – as he fought to hide his addiction from everyone around him, including Lisa and Dec.
Insiders told the publication, “Ant simply wasn’t leaving the house unless it was for absolutely necessary work like BGT or the BAFTAs or medical treatment on his knee.
“He’d become a virtual recluse stuck in the house because of the total agony he was in, becoming dependent on medication over months and months.
“In the last few weeks it got worse and he wouldn’t even leave the house to go to the shops.”
