Celebrities have been giving moving tributes to Bruce Forsyth, after passing away, aged 89.
The British TV presenter had been in the industry for 75 years, with his most recent role presenting Strictly Come Dancing, before leaving the show 2014.
The presenter said at the time that the show was “exhausting” him and he wanted to spend more time with his wife and family.
Devastated: Tess released a statement
Since the news of his death, stars of TV and music have been sharing their tributes. Bruce’s former Strictly co-host Tess Daly wrote an emotional statement.
“There are no words to describe how heartbroken I am,” she said.
“From the moment we met, Bruce and I did nothing but laugh our way through a decade together on Strictly Come Dancing.
“I will never forget his generosity, his brilliant sense of humour and his drive to entertain the audiences he so loved.
2FM host Nicky Byrne, who previously competed in Dancing With The Stars, also gave a tribute to the presenter on Sky News, as well as sharing his thoughts online.
