George Michael’s lover said that the legendary singer ‘can rest in peace now,’ following the announcement of his cause of death.
It was announced yesterday that the former Wham! frontman passed away due to natural causes.
According to Oxfordshire coroners, the cause of death was heart disease and a build-up of fat on the star’s liver.
Following the news, Fadi said, “I feel vindicated. George can rest in peace now.”

The hairdresser told The Mirror, “I am happy now he can rest, and we can rest as well. I am sure George is happy, now that everything is out. We can move forward.
“Now I can celebrate the life, the love we had, and move on as one.”
Speaking from outside George’s former home near Regent’s Park, Central London, he said, “It has been really tough and upsetting, and shocking two-and-a-half months.”
Fadi was accused of not calling an ambulance quick enough when he found the pop star, and there have been accusations that he and George were no longer together when he passed.
