Tara Palmer-Tomkinson’s sister, Santa Montefiore, claims that she did not have a brain tumour.
The author took to Twitter in a 5-part statement, shutting down some rumours surrounding her sister’s death.
In one tweet she writes, “Today the Coroner’s report states that Tara died of natural causes – a perforated ulcer. She did not have a brain tumour.”

The sister of the late socialite also shut down unusual rumours that The Prince of Wales was Tara’s godfather, “Tara was not the goddaughter of HRH the Prince of Wales.”
Santa also revealed that Tara had big plans, and had written a new song, “Tara’s good friends & family know that she was in high spirits in her last days.
“She had plans, trips & had written a moving new song.”
Finally, the author said that there will be a full statement from her family later on today.
