There could be a wild PUMA loose where Pippa Middleton is getting married this weekend

There could be a wild puma loose in the countryside where Pippa Middleton is set to tie the knot this weekend.

Locals believe a jungle cat, said to be 5ft long and weighing around 200lbs, is stalking woodland around Bradfield, Berkshire.

The village is less than two miles away from St Mark’s Church, Englefield, where Pippa is set to tie the knot with James Matthews this Saturday.

There has been a string of alarming sightings in the area dating back several years, sparking fears the animals could be breeding.

A local named Derek Collier spoke to the Daily Mail, and says he still shakes recalling how he came face to face with the animal.

He claims he was driving along a lane near Bradfield, a short distance from Bucklebury, where Pippa and her older sister Kate Middleton grew up.

“It was stood about 20 yards in front of me and right in my headlights and took up about two thirds of the road. I think it must have been a puma going by its size and colouring.”

“It was there for about ten seconds then it disappeared up the bank and into the bushes. It was a bit of a shock to say the least. It must have been five feet long from head to tail.”

Pumas, or “panthers” are not native to Britain but supposed to inhabit the British countryside.
