A Mamma Mia sequel with the original cast has been confirmed.
The all-singing all-dancing musical was released 10 years ago, and the follow up Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again is set to be released in July 2018.
All original cast members including; Meryl Streep, Amanda Seyfried, Pierce Brosnan, and Colin Firth are all set to reprise their roles.
The movie will have a brand new soundtrack, comprised of Abba songs that did not make the first movie.
British filmmaker Ol Parker has been given the task of writing and directing the follow up movie. With Abba’s Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus as Executive Producers.
There has been no revelations as to the new movie plot, but it is set to be based on the Greek island of Kalakairi.
The first Mamma Mia movie was a hit at the box office, making $600 million (more than €530 million) worldwide.
