WATCH: Miriam O’Callaghan insists she will NEVER host The Late Late Show

Miriam O’Callaghan has insisted that she will never host the likes of The Late Late Show.

Speaking to Goss.ie at the launch of RTÉ’s new Autumn/Winter schedule, Miriam admitted that she’s perfectly happy hosting Prime Time – and that she won’t be stealing Ryan Tubridy’s job anytime soon.

“I don’t want to host the Late Late Show, I’m happy to put that on the record, now or ever. I love Prime Time and I love my summer chat show.

“I couldn’t do Prime Time and the Late Late Show. So my first choice is Prime Time, so I’m staying in that and it works great to just do a summer chat show.

Meanwhile, rumours have been rife that Miriam could be set to put her dancing shoes on for RTÉ’s Dancing With The Stars, but the 59-year-old has now put those rumours to bed.

“Hot of the press as I can tell you, I’ll be doing neither.

“Interestingly, I heard from RTÉ that I was one of the top people wanted to do it, but I’m not going to do it.

“Not this year anyway, maybe another year – I’ve just too much on,” she told Goss.ie.

Miriam also opened up about taking over James Kavanagh’s Snapchat – take a look at our full interview above.
